CID pursues Ken Agyapong’s staff

The Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has invited a presenter of Oman FM, Fiifi Boafo, to assist with investigations relating to a treason case against his boss, Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin North.

Hon. Agyapong was arrested and detained until Thursday over comments he made on Mr. Boafo’s programme that the law enforcement agencies believe to have the tendency to cause mayhem in Ghana ahead of the December elections.

He has been charged with treason felony, terrorism acts and genocide and currently on a GhC400, 000 bail.

Speaking to Citifmonline.com, Mr. Boafo said he will be at the CID headquarters on Monday to assist the investigators.

“Well, because of time, I’m unable to make it today [Friday] but I can confirm to you that I have been invited and I’ll definitely honour it,” Boafo said.
